Renfrew Cafe in B&W (Closed)

Renfrew Cafe is a small cafe in East Vancouver bringing good coffee and handmade pies to the neighbourhood.

Started as an offshoot of North Vancouver's Café for Contemporary Art, Renfrew Cafe carries a selection of coffees from Elysian Coffee with espresso drinks being prepared on a two-group Synesso Cyncra with filter coffee made using Aeropress brewers.

One unique item on their coffee menu is the sparkling espresso which was discovered on a trip to a Tokyo cafe. The drink is made with espresso and a bottle of Boylan Bottling Company's Tonic Water. The cafe also stocks a selection of teas from Vancouver's Oollo Tea was founded to bring in direct trade fine teas by the Lo family which for generations grew tea on their farm in Taiwan.

Renfrew Cafe also makes a selection of hand made pies with a selection of savory meat and vegetarian pies using local and natural ingredients (Beef & Kimchi, Curry Chicken, Ham & Cheese, Mushroom & Spinach) along with a Classic Apple. You can also find some cookies and muffins that are also baked onsite.
