Musette Caffè Chinatown in B&W (Closed)
Update: Musette Caffè Chinatown is permanently closed.
Musette Caffè opened their second location last October taking over the spot vacated by Sean Heather's Everything Cafe in Chinatown. Like their sister cafe on Burrard Street, Musette Caffè Chinatown is a hub for the cycling community and the walls of the cafe are covered with colourful cycling memorabilia.
If you had ever been in the old Everything Cafe you'll notice some holdovers from the old design with some lighting, stools, leather banquette seating and the reclaimed wood planks on the back wall. They were even able to salvage Everything Cafe's old sandwich board refinishing it and emblazoning it with Musette Chinatown's new logo designed by Jonathan Wood (who worked on all the branding and identity design for the two cafes).
Musette also continues to serve coffee from 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters in their new Chinatown location with drip coffee and espresso drinks. Taking over Everything Cafe's old space has also given Musette a liquor license to serve up wine, cocktails and beer. You'll find a selection of baked goods in the cafe along with some breakfast and lunch options on the menu.
